In collaboration with the Social Impact team’s ‘Make a Difference to your Environment’ week, join us for a short documentary screening followed by discussion over refreshments with visiting academic Dr Nguyen Phuc Canh.

This event is an opportunity to find out about the research taking place in response to the climate crisis, and to contribute towards discussion surrounding it in an informal setting.

What can be done within the University? How can the city support sustainable living? Do we need to see more change in the curriculum? How can we motivate behaviour change as individuals?

Dr Canh (University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) is a LIAS visiting academic at the University of Leicester. He is collaborating with academics on research surrounding Environmental, Energy, and Ecological Economics, and Public Policy. He works closely with the Anthropocene Tiger Team, researching how human impact is affecting the Earth, and what measures can be taken in business to counteract mass production and the wider effects of climate change.

Please register for catering purposes.
