Want to know what life is like in space? Pint of Science and the International Space School Trust (ISSET) are proud to launch the upcoming ‘Astronaut Tour’ which brings former NASA astronaut, Steve Swanson, to Leicester!

Steve Swanson soared from working as a software engineer for a telephone company to become Commander of the International Space Station. During his career at NASA Steve accumulated 195 days, 20 hours, 47 minutes in space and was awarded the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal. Now that he’s been brought back to Earth, Steve will regale audiences with his remarkable tales of space shuttle missions, life at the International Space Station, and what it’s like to walk in space. Don’t miss out on this dazzling opportunity to find out what life is really like when you’re out of this world.

The ‘Astronaut Tour’ comes to Leicester on the 6th December. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at
