Fallout is a new BBC documentary based on the post-prison lives of four high profile exonerees who were sentenced to death or life – Paddy Hill (UK, Birmingham 6), Robert Brown (UK), Sunny Jacobs (USA/Ireland) and Peter Pringle (Ireland). T

This screening of Fallout forms part of a wider campaign called “Say I’m Innocent” for long-serving, exonerated prisoners. Following their release from prison, exonerees face an unfamiliar world with no services or support of any kind available to them. Many of them end up in a legal limbo with little hope of compensation or real justice. For more information on the campaign, see http://sayiminnocent.com/.

The event will include a screening of the film followed by presentations by the film's director, two of the four exonerees featured in the film, plus two experts from the University of Leicester. Afterwards all attendees are invited to a reception in the Harry Peach library in the Fielding Johnson Building.

Time: 6-9pm (registration from 5.30pm), 30 October 2017
