Join artist and Adrian Mole illustrator Caroline Holden Hotopf as she discusses her career and collaboration with Sue Townsend, and try your hand at designing your very own book cover.

Our celebration of Sue Townsend’s creation of Adrian Mole begins with this family workshop with illustrator Caroline Holden. Caroline will talk about her career as an artist and illustrator, including her memorable illustrations for the Mole series. This will be followed by a drawing and writing workshop suitable for all ages and abilities. As well has her work on the Mole books, Caroline Holden Hotopf has illustrated works for Michael Palin and Michael Rosen. She is the author and illustrator of Securi-Skunk and Danger, God Working Overhead and has published cartoons in The Oldie, Private Eye, The Sunday Times, and New Scientist.
