Come along to our free exhibition of games, role play and activities to promote children’s understanding and skills when using money. If you work or live with children aged 2 to 12, you will find something here to give you good ideas. You are welcome to bring children with you, to try things out!

Tuesdays, 2pm till 7pm

Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9.30am till 2pm

Saturdays, 9.30am till 2pm

At the Leicester City Pre-school Learning Alliance, Knighton Lane, Leicester LE2 8BE (next to Lansdowne Children’s Centre).

The PLA shop will be open at the same times as the exhibition, so you can buy things with a money theme (and more!) when you visit.

If your school or setting would like to bring a group of children to visit the exhibition, please book in advance to make sure there is space: phone 0116 229 1994 or email leicesterbookings@pre-school.org.uk

The exhibition is being co-ordinated by Rose Griffiths from the University of Leicester, along with early years practitioners from many schools, nurseries and other settings, and has been funded by ‘Greater Than The Sum’, a co-operative organization aiming to make maths more accessible to children and families in Leicester.

If you are a teacher in a Leicester or Leicestershire school, please collect details of our ‘Make a Million Pounds’ project for October and November 2015!
