Legendary Withnail and I film director and author Bruce Robinson discusses his new book, They All Love Jack, about his long obsession with Jack the Ripper.

Robinson has directed and/or written many leading films, including The Killing Fields, for which he was nominated for an Oscar, and more recently The Rum Diary with Johnny Depp. He is the author of autobiographical novel, The Peculiar Memories of Thomas Penman, and children's works The Obvious Elephant and Harold and the Duck (with his wife, the illustrator Sophie Robinson). The very funny Smoking in Bed: Conversations with Bruce Robinson was published in 2001. Expect humour, film business anecdotes and more.

Following the free talk and book signing, Phoenix will screen his film Withnail and I, which Bruce will introduce (this event is charged and bookable through Phoenix' box office).
