The Annual Saturday Seminar for the Leicester Literary and Philosophical Society Geology Section (C) will take place on 7 March from 10am - 5pm, followed by a drinks reception.

This year we are following the story of Man’s evolution. From the origin of life all the way through to the modern day, join us on a journey full of discovery. With the help of internationally acclaimed expert speakers, we shall be stopping off to examine crucial points along this pathway. When did the first multicellular animals evolve and what happened when the first vertebrates walked the land? What were the key behavioural innovations in the genus Homo and have we now begun to alter the very fabric of the Earth? To learn about this and much much more, sign up now to ensure your place.

Tickets for the Seminar and Reception are £25 with a buffet lunch or £15 without lunch. Tickets can be obtained from the Geology Section Treasurer by completing the slip below.
