Most people are aware that performing regular physical activity is beneficial to all-round health. Despite this, many struggle to find time to incorporate exercise into their day. I am investigating what is the smallest amount of exercise that needs to be done for people to lead a healthy life. Interval training (IT) is a likely solution. In this talk I shall explain what interval training is, and what factors need to be considered when recommending exercise to the public.

The Lunchtime Lecture series takes place Fridays, 12-1pm at the Leicester Adult Education College, located at 2 Wellington St, near the city end of New Walk. The lectures are delivered by current University of Leicester postgraduates and are open to the public, so there is no need to book, just come along on the day.
