Alumni Masterclass: Employee Engagement

Series Name School of Management
Type Conference
When 26 – 28 August
Venue College Court
Open To Public

As part of the University Of Leicester School Of Management’s Alumni Masterclass series, we are pleased to offer you a three-day workshop on transforming business performance through engaged employees, taking place 26 – 28 August.

This masterclass will take participants on a journey through the key elements of employee engagement. It will equip them with the building blocks to create an engaged culture in the workplace, regardless of the size or type of business.

Together, we will navigate the ‘engagement jungle’ learning about where (and how) to start the journey. We will examine what doesn’t work (as well as what does) and consider how best to avoid the common errors and pitfalls of many employee engagement strategies.

Our goal in undertaking this journey is to establish what it takes to both create and embed an enabled culture into the fabric of contemporary global organisations. Achieving this will require us to overcome common barriers to engagement and ensure the members of our organisations become integral to the delivery of the strategy.

Your guide and expedition leader on this journey is John Jennings who will share with you the latest research and his experience on employee engagement. Through discussion, video case studies and scenario-based interactive sessions the terrain will become familiar to you, providing you with the means to map out and implement an employee engagement strategy for your organisation.

Can you afford for your organisation’s strategy to be just another wall hanging?

Further information can be found on the School of Management’s alumni webpage or by emailing ulsmalumni@le.ac.uk.

Please note places are limited and registration closes 29th July. This event is open to University of Leicester Alumni.
