The brain is the one of the most complex systems humanity has ever known. Psychology, though considered a niche field of science for a long time, has become an important domain to investigate the mysterious and fascinating processes the brain possesses.

Sandeep Parwaga, a PhD student from the Department of Psychology, explores one of those processes: How does the brain represent the world? Through psychophysical procedures, he will show how the brain may create our impressions of the world.

The Lunchtime Lecture series takes place Fridays, 12-1pm at the Leicester Adult Education College, located at 2 Wellington St, near the city end of New Walk. The lectures are delivered by current University of Leicester postgraduates and are open to the public, so there is no need to book, just come along on the day.
