The Graduate School is at the heart of our postgraduate community and provides support to postgraduates across the University's four Colleges.

These Inaugural Lectures are where the very best of our research degree graduates get the chance to share their work and their passion for research with the University and the public.

On Wednesday 26 March, the Graduate School will host the Doctoral Inaugural Lectures for the College of Social Science, featuring:

  • Dr Nikolaos Karfakis, School of Management 'Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: An Enigmatic Illness?'
  • Dr Gareth Lewis, School of Education: 'Motivational and emotional perspectives on disaffection with mathematics'

The lectures take place from 5.30pm - 6.30pm in Bennett Building, Lecture Theatre 2.
