Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.

The University of Leicester are delighted to partner with the DANA Foundation for the second year to celebrate Brain Awareness Week.

We invite the public to join us on 12th March 2014 from 6pm to 8pm in the Frank & Katherine May Lecture Theatre, Henry Wellcome.

There will be talks about current brain research at the University of Leicester, demonstrations and posters. Refreshments will be provided.

This is a free event aimed at informing the public about current research at the University. It will be of interest to people wanting to make informed health related decisions and will also give an insight into brain research performed day-to-day at University of Leicester.
