This event is open to all and is designed to inspire and support academics who are interested introducing sustainability teaching into their courses. There will be opportunities for questions and networking after Ruth’s workshop.

About the speaker

Ruth Godfrey is the Education Officer at the University of Leicester Botanic Garden and the Attenborough Arboretum. She trained as a teacher at the University of Warwick and has worked as a teacher both in the UK and in Zambia.  Ruth leads a team of teachers who deliver a wide range of programmes across many subjects and age-ranges, including teaching on the University's Sustainable Futures Programme. She also has managed a range of successful projects which include those funded by the Arts Council, Field Studies Council, Royal Society, Department for International Development, Santander and Botanic Gardens Conservation International.
