Join Sinfonia Viva, the national orchestra based in the East Midlands, on a musical voyage.

Joined by composer Jack Ross and storyteller Zoe Palmer for this chamber piece, an ideal first concert for children. The show follows a story about life on the ocean waves and includes a diverse musical programme which is inspired by the watery-world, including McCartney's Yellow Submarine to Elgar's beautiful Where Corals Lie. This show is perfect for children aged 5+ and so jump aboard at Embrace Arts for this afternoon of fun for the family. There is also a pre-show workshop at 1pm - price £3.

Part of The Spark Festival, the largest children's arts festival in England and Wales, designed for children aged 0 - 13 years, Monday 19 May - Sunday 1 June, 2014.
