Experts in the field of post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression from both the MRC–Toxicology Unit (Professor Martin Bushell, Dr Ania Wilczynska and Dr Tuija Poyry) and the University of Leicester (Dr Terence Herbert) have come together to organise this year’s prestigious ‘Translation UK’ conference, which will be held on the 21st and 22nd of July at Stamford Court, Leicester. Conference co-organiser, Dr Terence Herbert from the Department of Cell Physiology and Pharmacology, said “I am very excited about this year’s conference. We have world class scientists from across the world talking on everything from the role of translation in cancer to RNA profiling. I’m sure this conference will stimulate much interest and provide the opportunity to development meaningful collaborations”.
