On Wednesday 10th December, the Graduate School will be holding the first set of Doctoral Inaugural Lectures for the 2014/15 academic year.

We will have two very engaging talks from two recent doctoral graduates of the College of Medicine, Biological Sciences and Psychology, who each been awarded one of the College's PhD Prizes:

  • Dr Alessio Bortoluzzi (Department of Biochemistry) - Structural and functional characterisation of an essential Mycobacterium tuberculosis protein, RbpA
  • Dr Will Nicolson (Department of Cardiovascular Sciences) - LifeMap – a new way of detecting people at risk of sudden cardiac death
