Two outstanding College of Science and Engineering PhD graduates return to give public lectures about their Doctoral research.

Dr Sam Cheyney, formerly of the Department of Geology, will present: “The Hidden Depths: 3D interpretation of archaeological magnetic data”.  He will be joined by Dr Chenglong Shang, who studied in the Department of Engineering and will discuss “Do you want to know how tablets break? Modelling powder compaction and breakage of compacts”.  The lectures will take place in Attenborough Lecture Theatre 1, at 5.30pm on Tuesday 11th of June, and will be followed by a wine reception.
