Members of the public invited to learn about dementia findings
Members of the Alzheimer’s Research UK Midlands Research Network have organised a meeting for local researchers to discuss the latest developments in dementia prevention and future treatments. The panel will include dementia experts from a variety of backgrounds.
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, funding research into the causes of dementia, diagnosis, preventions and treatments.
Dr Latha Velayudhan, from the Department of Health Sciences, will be one of the local experts on the panel who looks into the link between sense of smell and dementia.
