Two nominations for University of Leicester in Excellence in Tourism Awards

Embrace Arts at the Richard Attenborough Centre has been selected as a finalist for the 2014 Leicester and Leicestershire Excellence in Tourism Awards.

The University’s arts centre has been nominated in for the Access for All category, along with Snibston Discovery Museum. They join College Court amongst this years nominees, all celebrated for the excellent service that they offer to ensure visitors to the destination have the best possible experience during their stay.

Plans for a new £1.5 million gallery space for Embrace Arts have recently been approved and funding currently is being secured with support from Arts Council England and other grants and individual donations raised by the University of Leicester through its Breaking Barriers Appeal. The Leicester and Leicestershire Excellence in Tourism Awards ceremony will be held at The Mercure Leicester, The Grand Hotel on Thursday 20th November at 7pm.
