Winning entry to be announced at 10th Festival of Postgraduate Research on 26 June

The winning entry of PhDepictions, a photography competition for University research students, will be announced at the 10th Festival of Postgraduate Research, taking place 26 June 2014.

Hosted by the Graduate School for the first time in 2014, the competition requires entrants to create an image that communicates their research, their findings and their passion for their subject. The list of entries can be found here.

For the University PhDepictions is another way in which we can share the breadth and quality of research being undertaken by our postgraduates; for those research students who take part, it is an opportunity to think about their research in a new way and to further develop their ability to communicate their work and findings with a range of audiences.

The Festival of Postgraduate Research, presented by the Graduate School for the tenth year in 2014, is where the very best of our doctoral researchers get the chance to present themselves to the wider University, employers and the public.
