University's Space Research Centre to host business networking event at Phoenix Square, Leicester on Thursday 12 June

Following the success of its first three business networking events, the Space IDEAS Hub at the University is turning the tables for its next event on Thursday 12 June 2014 at Phoenix Square, Leicester and asking the delegates to decide the content of the programme.

Interested parties are invited to submit ideas for talks on the dedicated event website - and then the power of social media will take over. The list of potential talks is open for anyone to vote on what they’d like to hear about. The programme will not be finalised until it actually starts.

The Space Ideas Hub is a knowledge exchange and technology commercialisation initiative created, managed, and hosted by the Space Research Centre. A successful European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) application together with matched funding from the University enables a dedicated team to undertake a broad programme of activities intended to help businesses exploit the capacities and technologies developed for space-related projects.
