Leicester wins bid to establish maths support centre

New centre enhances opportunities for learning

The University has been successful in a bid to house a new centre providing maths and statistics help for students on campus.

sigma, the national network for cross-university mathematics and statistics support, announced the establishment of four new centres – at University of Leicester along with Kings College London, Halesowen College and Bournemouth University.

All four of these projects focus on the development of new provision and each will receive funding of £15,000 over two years. The planned provision will be in place for the start of the new academic year.
