‘Leicester Graduates’ initiative to offer recruitment solutions to East Midlands employers

The University has launched a new initiative to provide recruitment solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the East Midlands.

Following on from the successful networking event Gateways to Skills and Future Talent held at College Court in April, the Career Development Service has launched the new initiative, Leicester Graduates – connecting SMEs with talent, in order to build on the success of previous years and meet the needs of smaller businesses by providing both long and short term recruitment solutions.

The focus is on supporting companies to find the right graduate to fit their business needs and deliver key projects in house, with the flexibility of recruiting recent graduates on an initial fixed term basis (3-12 months) or permanently.

Bursaries are also available to help employers get started with graduate employment.

The Career Development Service can offer employers workplace ready graduates from August, expert advice on graduate recruitment and role development, free advertising and promotion of vacancies, support with screening, as well as financial assistance.
