India beckons for winning team from School of Management

Students competing in the CIMA Global Business Challenge win UK finals

Management students at Leicester have emerged victorious from the UK final of an international business competition and will now travel to India to battle it out for the title of global champions 2014.

The four final year undergraduate students (pictured) are from the School of Management: Marcel Goldenberg; Regan Moore; Carmen Wong; and Gavin Woodcock (pictured), will represent the University of Leicester in Mumbai in August, competing against 24 teams from around the world.

The School of Management financed the students to travel to London for the UK finals and the students received coaching from academics within the School and staff from the Career Development Service .

The CIMA Global Business Challenge is an international business competition for undergraduates and is designed to bring out the best in the young business leaders of tomorrow.  Taking part enables participants to gain first-hand experience of the skills required to be a business leader and connect like-minded and ambitious students worldwide as well as network with some of the top global employers in the business world.
