Stanley Burton Centre for Holocaust Studies Collaborative Outreach Workshop to take place Wednesday 2 July

The Stanley Burton Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Studies is organising a collaborative workshop on anti-Semitism in Romania and Moldova, which will take place on 2 July 2014.

The Centre together with the European Centre for Minority Issues (Flensburg) are organising the first of a two-session Collaborative Outreach Workshop. Focusing on the period from the establishment of the independent kingdom of Romania in 1881, to the declaration of the independent state of Moldova in 1991, the workshop will examine the history of anti-Semitism in the region as well as explore prejudice and discrimination against the Roma.

It aims to keep the small, workshop format but also to broadcast the presentations on Twitcam.

The workshop will take place on 2 July 2014 at 6 University Road, Ground Floor, Room G001, and will also be livestreamed on Twitter @UoLSBC
