Images have been unveiled of 'Richard III: Dynasty, Death and Discovery', an exhibition at Leicester's new visitor centre, which will be housed in the heart of Leicester’s Cathedral Quarter.

The images show how the ground floor will include stunning artefacts, stained glass and interactive displays telling the story of the king's life and times, while on the first floor, the emphasis shifts to the groundbreaking science and technology used to identify the king's body.

Visitors will be able to explore the King’s history through state-of-the-art interactive displays and demonstrations, beautiful historic artifacts and colourful hands-on exhibits.

Human remains believed to be those of King Richard III were discovered by archaeologists from the University in August 2012. The find was confirmed by experts on February 4th 2013.

The opening date of the new centre and admission prices are expected to be announced in February.
