Richard Buckley OBE to speak about Richard III discovery at annual dinner of Leicestershire Business Voice

Archaeologist Richard Buckley OBE (pictured), from the University of Leicester's Archaeological Services (ULAS), will speak to 200 business leaders at the annual dinner event of Leicestershire Business Voice at St Martins House on Thursday 6 February 2014.

In celebration of the discovery the event has the theme of a medieval banquet with a modern twist, replete with entertainment from ‘The Princes in the Tower’, and a local artist who will draw caricatures of the guests in medieval costume in aid of local charity LOROS.

Richard said: “This is a great opportunity for business leaders to explore how the discovery can attract tourists and businesses to Leicester. The discovery has confirmed Leicester’s status as a historical centre.

The event is fully booked, but due to its popularity it is likely to be repeated.
