University lecturer to debate the complex relationship between the two conflicting ideologies in a joint book launch on October 29

Two authors are to hold a debate over a possible relationship between management and anarchy in a joint book launch this month.

The event, which is organised by the Centre of Philosophy and Political Economy, will have authors Dr Fabian Frenzel (pictured), Lecturer in the Political Economy at the School of Management, and Liam Barrington-Bush review the opposing link between management and anarchy.

Dr Frenzel’s book ‘Protest Camps’ focuses on the managerial practices taking place in social movements. Liam Barrington-Bush’s ‘Anarchists in the Boardroom’ highlights the managerial lessons of contemporary organisations. The discussion will compare the two conflicting theories behind management and anarchy and identify similarities and differences between them.

The event at the University is free of charge and takes place in room G85 of the Bennett Building on Tuesday 29 October between 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
