The University of Leicester has been recognised for its work helping students prepare for the world of work by the Association of Graduate Recruiters; the largest voice for graduate employers in the UK

Leicester beat off stiff competition from Universities across the UK to be shortlisted for the AGR’s annual Development Awards last week, alongside graduate employers such as BskyB, National Grid, Accenture and IBM.

The University was ‘highly commended’ for its pioneering ‘no prep, no entry’ approach and the support it delivered to almost 4,000 students in a five week period.

Judges were particularly impressed with the feedback employers gave about the quality of conversation students were able to have, which ultimately influenced their employability prospects.
