The University of Leicester greeted a large party from the United Arab Emirates who witnessed Criminology student's graduation.

On Friday 25 January University of Leicester welcome a large cohort of guests from the United Arab Emirates who came to celebrate the graduation of one of our postgraduate students.

Shaikh Ahmed Bin Nasser Bin Zayed Bin Sultan studied a postgraduate degree in Terrorism, Security and Policing in the Department of Criminology.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates was also expected to attend the graduation but in the event was unfortunately unable to do so.

The student was greeted by the Vice-Chancellor and Professor Adrian Beck, Head of the Department of Criminology, before the graduation ceremony.

Shaikh Ahmed Bin Nasser Bin Zayed Bin Sultan graduated alongside many other students who were receiving their postgraduate degrees. Also among the attendees was Diana Garnham, who received an honorary degree during the ceremony.
