Pupils from across Leicester are exhibiting pictures and sculptures at an exhibition on campus.

The annual 'Roots' exhibition of artwork by children and young people from schools and colleges across the city launches tonight. Artists and their families have been invited to view the exhibition at a launch event at 6.30pm this evening in the Charles Wilson Building.

The exhibition will also be open 10.00am-4.00pm tomorrow (Saturday 30 June) – you could combine a visit with a trip to Embrace Arts for their Open House event. On Monday and Tuesday, the Roots exhibition will be available to view 9.30am-4.00pm.

Entrance is free. Please note that there is no parking available on campus on Monday and Tuesday, and that campus will be very busy on Saturday with people attending our Summer Reunion. Also, there are currently a lot of roadworks on University Road.

The 'Roots' exhibition is organised by Sir Jonathan North Community College, to whom any enquiries should be addressed.
