At the next professorial inaugural lecture on 24 May, you can hear the answer from Professor Nick Brindle.

A specialist in cell signalling, Professor Brindle from our Department of Cardiovascular Sciences will explain how understanding the complex intercommunications between cells helps with treating cardiovascular and other diseases, repairing damaged tissue and has potential for growing replacement body parts.

His lecture, ‘Cell signalling, from molecular mechanisms to medicines and beyond’, is free and open to the public and will be held at 5.30pm in Lecture Theatre 1 in the Ken Edwards Building, University of Leicester.
