Deputy Chief Executive of Blackburn Rovers.

The sports section of the Lancashire Telegraph has a Q&A with Paul Hunt, newly appointed Deputy Chief Exec of Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

Hunt has 15 years of football experience, having worked at Manchester United, Wigan Athletic, Bolton Wanderers and just up the road at Leicester City.

Originally from Bury, he has a degree in Humanities from the University of Teeside. During his spell at Bolton, he added to this an MBA which he studied by distance learning with the University of Leicester. This undoubtedly helped him with the business side of the events he arranged at the Reebok Stadium, which included concerts by the likes of Elton John and Coldplay.

At Blackburn, Hunt’s role will be managing the day-to-day business of the club, especially the commercial side of things.

Blackburn Rovers finished 15th in the Premier League last season.
