Arigato gozaimasu to everyone who contributed.

Earlier this year the University’s Japanese Student Association organised a day of fund-raising events to help victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

Activities on offer included the chance to try on traditional Japanese dress, origami demonstration, Japanese calligraphy and manga portraits. All told, the ‘Ganbare Nippon’ event raised £1,139.98 for the Japanese Red Cross.

Well done to all concerned.
