Leicester graduates in the news: Michael Fowler

In an exclusive interview with The Gold Report, Leicester graduate Michael Fowler provides insights on potential mergers and acquisitions in the gold market.

Fowler works as a senior mining analyst for Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon, the first independent research-based institutional equity firm in Canada.

He completed his MSc in mineral exploration with our Geology Department in 1977. Among his career achievements is involvement in the discovery of the largest undeveloped high-grade uranium deposit in the world, Cigar Lake uranium mine in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada, in the early 1980s.
