Leicester graduates in the news: Miles Dibsdall

The Edinburgh Evening News reports that Leicester graduate Miles Dibsdall has received an OBE for services to further and higher education in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

Mr Dibsdall studied at Leicester in the 1980s and has had a busy career with senior positions at a number of HE and FE colleges, including three years as deputy principal at West Kent College and three and a half years as principal of New College Stamford, in Lincolnshire.

He is currently principal and chief executive at Edinburgh’s Telford College, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management.
