Department of Health Director of Research gives public lecture
Dame Sally chairs the UK Clinical Research Collaboration, oversees the National Institute for Health Research is a board member of the Office of Coordination of Health Research and sits on the Medical Research Council.
She is number 30 in the list of the 50 most powerful people in the NHS compiled annually by Health Service Journal. Among the academic-related projects in which she has been instrumental are UK Biobank and UK PubMed Central.
