Public sector approval for highly rated distance learning course.

The University of Leicester has been named as one of only three ‘preferred suppliers’ of distance learning MBAs to the public sector in the UK.

The Government has announced, through its procurement body Buying Solutions, a framework agreement with the University to provide the Master of Business Administration qualification by distance learning to customers in central government, regional government and the wider public sector. The only other Higher Education Institutions with similar agreements are Henley Business School and the Open University. A further six institutions are preferred suppliers for part-time, campus-based MBAs.

Buying Solutions is the national procurement partner for all UK public services and is part of the Efficiency and Reform Group within the Cabinet Office. Its selection of MBA providers was based on both quality of teaching and value for money.

The Leicester distance learning MBA is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and is one of our most popular courses. It is run by our School of Management.
