Dr Rhaana Starling from our Department of Physics and Astronomy has been awarded one of ten Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowships for her work on ‘the physics of black holes and jets out to the far Universe via Gamma-Ray Bursts’.

The Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship scheme “supports excellent scientists and engineers at an early stage of their career and is designed to help successful candidates progress to permanent academic positions across the UK.”
