The University of Leicester is ranked 15th out of over 100 institutions by the new Times Good University Guide. This is the third consecutive year Leicester has secured a top-15 position and follows top 20 rankings by the Sunday Times and The Guardian. Leicester is once again ranked as the East Midland’s top university by the Guide.

Leicester is the most inclusive of Britain's top-20 leading universities with the greatest proportions of students from under-represented groups. Further evidence of us living up to our description by the Times Higher Education magazine that said the university was “elite without being elitist."

The Times Good University Guide is a full 544 pages of thoroughly researched info which judges more than 100 UK universities against a number of criteria including student satisfaction, entry standards, research quality and completion rate.

Normally at this point you would be able to follow a link to the table but The Times website now requires registration before you can access anything (and will soon start charging for access).

The full guide can be ordered from Amazon for £8.50 (cover price £16.99).
