The British Library

If you are doing research, and the British Library's collections could help you, you are welcome to use the Library. Everyone may visit the British Library, to visit the exhibition galleries or to tour the building. However, in order to consult material and use the reading rooms, you will need to apply for a reader's pass, for which you will need to provide identification, both proof of signature and address. If you are a student you should take your University ID/Library card as well.
