IT facilities

There are 350 PCs within the David Wilson Library for use by students and staff. You will require a University IT account to login to these PCs.

For IT help and advice, please visit the Help Zone on the Ground Floor of the David Wilson Library. Visit the IT for students website for everything you need to know about IT as a student, including how to print and connect to wifi internet (eduroam).

Loan laptops

There are 40 loan laptops available to borrow from the lockers in the Help Zone, ground floor David Wilson Library.

Connect your laptop

All study desks in the David Wilson Library have a power socket for plugging in your laptop. Wifi internet access is provided throughout the building. Follow these instructions for how to setup wifi.

Group study rooms

Group study rooms include a networked PC and audio visual facilities.  Please visit the Group study rooms page for further information.

IT training rooms

There are two IT training rooms on the Ground Floor of the David Wilson Library.  IT Room 1 has 47 PCs and IT Room 2 has 24 PCs.  These rooms can be booked for teaching by University staff using central room bookings.
