Nicholas Corah Doctoral College Reading Room

Graduate School Reading RoomThe Nicholas Corah Doctoral College Reading Room is on Floor 1 of the David Wilson Library and is available for use by all University of Leicester PhD students and staff.  It is named after Sir Nicholas Corah, a former Pro-Chancellor who led the fundraising effort for the new library building.

You need your University student card to gain access to the room (University staff: please use your Library card).

The Doctoral College Reading Room offers both formal and informal study spaces for individual study and also to facilitate quiet conversations related to research and academic work. There is a silent study room for those preferring to study in total silence and  a group study room that can be booked only by PGR students and which is equipped with a PC, DVD player, LCD screen, and whiteboard. There is also a consultation room used by Library Research Services and Doctoral College Staff for appointments. The consultation room may be used for study when not in use for consultations.
