Pre-requisites for this course: You must already have a RefWorks account, which you have had for more than one month. You must have used the account in the last month. You must be able to import references from a database and use the ‘Write’N’Cite’ toolbar.

  • Practice editing an output style.
  •  Set-up and use ‘Save to RefWorks’ button.
  • Organise and share your references.
  • Annotate PDFs.
  • Discuss issues relevant to your use of RefWorks.


Suitable for: doctoral researchers at any stage.

RDF: This session covers descriptors A1 (Knowledge base), B2 (Self-management), C2 (Research management) and D1 (Working with others) of the Researcher Development Framework.
