Literature Online provides over 350,000 lfull-text literary works, a vast library of criticism from ABELL and MLA International Bibliography, and other literary reference works.

  • Annual Bibliography of English Literature and Language (ABELL) - 880,000+ records of articles, monographs and dissertations from 1920 onwards

 Key features

Search options allow you to search by author, text, criticism and reference resource. 
Links to full-text resources in Early English Books Online and JSTOR collections

Results can be saved, emailed, printed or exported to bibliographic software.

Researchers can use My Archives to save items between sessions; save, re-run and modified searches; and receive email alerts for a particular authors.

Please be aware -  if you have used the My Archives feature on the old Literature Online interface, this content will be lost if it is not moved to the new interface.
