Google Scholar

Log on to Google Scholar

Why do I need to log in?

If you are using Google Scholar off campus, you will be asked to log in with your University IT account username and password.  You will then be able to access all the eJournals and other resources you find which the Library has access to.

If you have problems logging on, please check our information on off campus access.

If you’re off the campus network you can link Google Scholar to the library subscriptions.  You can then read the full text of pdfs that we subscribe to.  Watch this short video to see how.

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature - particularly journal articles. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions (USA only), from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.

Use Google Scholar in combination with Library Search to access the full range of resources available to you.  Library Search is better for finding books.
