Learn more about Artemis Primary Sources on Thursday 10th March, 10am-2pm.

On Thursday 10th March between 10am and 2pm representatives from Gale Cengage will be putting on a drop-in roadshow in the Charles Wilson foyer. The roadshow will enable students and researchers to learn more about its revolutionary new research platform Artemis Primary Sources, to which the Library has access.Throughout the roadshow refreshments will be provided.

Artemis Primary Sources will be of interest to students in the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities due to the breadth of sources provided e.g. The Economist 1843-2011 and Nineteenth US Newspapers.

The Artemis platform is particularly useful to students who are writing dissertations, enabling them to gather valuable primary source materials within a single, easy to use platform. It will also be useful to postgraduates and professional academics who are looking to access the depth and wealth of material within Gale’s collections.

All users can make new discoveries through Artemis' easy to use, innovative analytics tools.

Student feedback from similar events includes the following:

  • “Great tool to write my dissertation! It will save me time, effort and stress. Thanks!”
  • “Who knew there was more than JSTOR?! :-) Thank you!”
  • “This allows a single platform to access a number of archives. Saves time and encourages more experimental researcj
  • “Saves time with research, especially liked the graph aspect!”

No registration is required, please drop in between 10am and 2pm.
