As a Library Champion you will:

  • Collect feedback about the Library services and resources
  • Promote the Library within your department
  • Have the opportunity to participate in a library project that will help improve the Library

Role Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated students to act as a link between departments and the Library to help ensure our services and resources meet the needs of our students.

Library Champions will be actively involved in collecting feedback for the Library, which will guide decision making. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a library project designed to improve student experience in the Library. Your contribution as Library Champion will give you valuable experience to add to your CV, develop transferable skills such as communication, time management and research and will be included in your HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report) once you complete your studies.

Time commitment: 10 hours per academic year.

Library Champions will be given full training for the role and will be supported throughout the scheme by the Academic Librarian.
