As well as being a celebrated playwright, Joe Orton penned hilarious spoof letters of complaint under the pseudonym Mrs Edna Welthorpe. To mark the 50th anniversary of his death this year, join Dr Emma Parker to see Chris Shepherd’s animation ‘Yours Faithfully, Edna Welthorpe (Mrs)’ and hear new Edna letters by top comedy writers such as Jesse Armstrong (The Thick of It), David Quantick (Veep), Arthur Mathews (Father Ted).
