Literary Leicester Festival

Wednesday 29th October - Saturday 1st November 2008

This is an archive of the 2008 Literary Leicester event.
Literary Leicester 2009 runs from 12 to 14 November 2009.

Join us to celebrate the completion of the new David Wilson Library at the University of Leicester.

This year sees the opening of the remodelled and extended David Wilson Library, combining stunning architecture, state-of the-art study facilities and a splendid home for the Library’s million books.

What better way to mark the opening of a new library than a celebration of books and words associated with the University of Leicester, the city of Leicester and academic life.

Over three days there will be spellbinding opportunities for all age groups to meet and listen to a dozen eminent writers, experience exciting drama and see the new Library and its treasures.

We look forward to welcoming you…
